“We are rebranding these facilities to clearly communicate that we are building one regional health care delivery system for the patients we serve,” said Drop. “Our goal is to provide more coordinated care and better outcomes. Together, we can provide the latest medical technology and innovations in care, and expand and upgrade services to meet the growing needs of people in central and western North Dakota. ”

According to Lankowicz, market president at CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital, his board of directors were very supportive of the change. “As advocates for the vulnerable members we serve, the prospect of extending Christ’s healing ministry by forming a regional health care system aligns with our mission.”

“Quality care is a hallmark of our organizations and today we come together under one name and one mission,” said CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center’s CEO Kurt Schley.  “As the largest health delivery system in the region, we will build upon our mission of healing with an even greater emphasis on quality initiatives and outcomes.”
