Next week June 19 through 23, the readers of the Devils Lake Journal will see a delay in the reciept of their newspaper. Monday, June 19 is a federal holiday, Juneteenth – recognized nationally as the “end of slavery” in the U.S. – and the company that prints the Devils Lake Journal in Bismarck, will not be printing that day, therefore, your Tuesday, June 20 Devils Lake Journal will arrive on Wednesday, June 21 – the first Day of Summer!
— Happy Father’s Day on Sunday, June 18 and Happy Juneteenth on Monday, June 19!
