All are invited! Mark your calendars for Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, when the Michigan Lutheran Church will celebrate its 125th Anniversary. The Michigan Scandinavian Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized Oct. 21, 1901.

The celebration will include morning worship at 10:30 a.m. with Bishop Tessa Moon-Leiseth, a free-will offering meal at noon, and an afternoon program at 2 p.m. followed by cake and coffee. There will be special music, too.

The organizers need a head count for planning purposes and especially for food planning. “We don’t have the same power that someone did with five loaves and two fish” they say!

Please RSVP by Sept. 15, 2026, with your name, email address, and number of people coming for worship/noon meal/afternoon program, and whether interested in singing with the reunion choir during worship (if interested, music will be sent to your email address)

RSVPs can be arranged by leaving a private message on the Michigan Lutheran Church Facebook page, texting or calling Sharon Young at 701-740-7380 or Renee Anderson at 701-230-9051, or emailing at [email protected] or [email protected].
