DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — Devils Lake Elks Lodge #1216 announces scholarship awards to four area high school seniors in the Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship competition for the 2026-27 academic year.
Twelve area seniors of the Class of 2026 applied for the scholarship program by the November 2025 deadline. Applicants submitted materials highlighting their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement and community service.
Applications were initially scored using criteria established by the Elks National Foundation. A local committee of Elks members then reviewed and evaluated applicant essays. Final scores were tabulated, and the top-ranking young women and men were selected to receive local scholarship awards. These winners also advanced to the state-level competition.
