Devils Lake Public School’s Middle School is getting an upgrade this summer and as the first day of school nears (Aug. 19) workers spent their Saturday morning, Aug. 8 at the school to meet their deadlines. Here we see what will be the new entrance, complete with a concrete ramp to a new “main” door (not installed yet).

Also on the backside of CMS, workers were smoothing out freshly poured concrete for the sidewalk.
Meanwhile several vehicles were parked along the west side of the middle school, most bearing signs from various electrical companies servicing the renovations.
Both sides of the avenue west of CMS were filled with workers’ vehicles.
Even the front of CMS had a couple more vehicles parked outside.
