Ramsey County 4-H Achievement Days and the Lake Region Livestock Expo were held June 17–19 at the Ramsey County Fairgrounds, bringing together more than 70 4-H members and over 25 Cloverbud members for three days of learning, competition, and celebration.
The event kicked off on June 17 with Static Exhibit Day, where members displayed nearly 475 projects representing the work they completed throughout the 4-H year. Projects included everything from photography, foods and nutrition, sewing, woodworking, visual arts, STEM, plant science, and many other project areas. Members visited one-on-one with judges, sharing what they learned and explaining the process behind their projects.
June 18 featured the Ramsey County 4-H Horse Show, where riders demonstrated the skills, they have developed with their horses throughout the year. Members competed in a variety of classes that highlighted horsemanship, sportsmanship, and the strong partnerships they have built with their animals.
The final day of Achievement Days was the Lake Region Livestock Expo held on June 19. Youth from across the region exhibited beef, sheep, goats, swine, llama, rabbits, poultry, and pets while showcasing the time, dedication, and responsibility that goes into caring for their projects.
Wednesday and Thursday mornings, exhibitors, families, volunteers, and judges started their day with breakfast, generously provided by Ramsey County Farmers Union. The breakfasts offered a great opportunity for everyone to gather before another busy day.
Friday afternoon, exhibitors, their families, and the community gathered for the annual Family Picnic. Generously sponsored by the Ramsey County Fair Board and Ramsey County Farm Bureau.
New additions to this year’s 4-H Achievement Days included the Costume Contest and the Leader’s Choice Awards. The Costume Contest quickly became a 4-H favorite, as members and their animals showed off creative costumes that brought plenty of fun. The new Leader’s Choice Awards recognized outstanding static exhibits selected by community leaders, giving members another opportunity to be recognized for their hard work, creativity, and craftsmanship.
Ramsey County 4-H would like to thank the many judges, volunteers, sponsors, parents, and community members who helped make Achievement Days a success. Their support provides local youth with opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, and celebrate their accomplishments.

Ramsey County 4-H will officially wrap up the 2025–2026 4-H year on August 31 before kicking off another year of opportunities this fall.
