July 30: The Wizard of Oz! Follow the Yellow Brick Road in Roosevelt Park, Devils Lake. Show begins at 8 p.m. Come early and enjoy a burger basket or hot dog from the grill (or both) before the show!

July 31: The 2026 Chamber Golf Tournament will be held noon to 5 p.m. at Creel Bay Golf Course! Participation open to Chamber member businesses only. Team must be sponsored by a member business and at least one team member must belong to the sponsoring business. Located at 515 Country Club Road, Devils Lake. July 31: Wizard of Oz finale! Your last chance to follow the Yellow Brick Road to an unforgettable theatrical experience as Fort Totten Little Theatre presents the timeless classic, “The Wizard of Oz,”! Follow the journey of young Dorothy Gale, swept away by a cyclone from her Kansas farm to the vibrant, magical Land of Oz. To get home, she must travel to the Emerald City to seek the help of the Wizard. Joined by the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion, they must outwit the Wicked Witch of the West and discover that there truly is no place like home. This musical production will be performed under the stars at Roosevelt Park 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31. August 1: Rummage sale at Peace Lutheran Church, 1700 5th Ave. NE, Devils Lake, 8 a.m. – noon. Carmel rolls and coffee will be served.

August 1: To all Car Cruizers, from Stan Orness: Maddock Renaissance Festival Car Show – leaves from Devils Lake at 10:30 a.m. from the frontage road in front of Razor’s Edge. The Car Show is uptown in Maddock, following the 11 a.m. parade and goes to 4 p.m.. There is a free lunch to all car show participants. 

August 4: “Arts in the Park” presents a Combined Community Band Concert featuring the Greater Grand Forks City Band and the Devils Lake Community Band, 7 p.m. in the Galleger Elks Band Shell in Roosevelt Park. Sponsored by Devils Lake Cars and First United Bank. In case of inclement weather, Arts in the Park concerts will move to the KC Hall, 522 4th St NE. August 8: At the Market in the Park, Roosevelt Park, Devils Lake, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Cameron Sutphin from Valley City will be performing country music and guitar playing for your enjoyment as you shop. Please join us!

August 15: Devils Lake Military Father Daughter Ball, 7 – 9 p.m. at the Hofstad Ag Center, 1801 College Dr. N. Open to all military fathers and their daughters ages 0-18. August 20: Community Fish Fry & Corn Feed starts at 5 p.m. and goes until gone at the Burdick Arena, sponsored by the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Region Anglers.
