DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — On Monday, July 20, the Lake Region Law Enforcement Center (LRLEC) announced that it officially obtained its substance abuse treatment program license.
According to the press release from LRLEC, the licensure represents months of planning and preparation by staff members to ensure all requirements were met and reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to addressing substance use disorders and promoting rehabilitation opportunities for individuals in their custody.
“This accomplishment would not have been possible without the hard work, professionalism, and dedication of our employees,” said LRLEC Director Starr Klemetsrud. “Our staff has invested countless hours into developing policies, procedures, programming, and documentation necessary to meet the state’s licensing standards. Their commitment to improving services for those in our care is truly commendable.”
The newly licensed program will allow LRLEC to provide structured substance abuse treatment services designed to help participants address addiction, develop healthy coping strategies, and build skills that support long-term recovery and successful reintegration into the community.
