Western State Bank Awards Scholarships

Western State Bank has awarded $500 Western Achievement Scholarships to seven area students.

This year’s recipients included the following Lake Region students: Madilyn Dion, who will attend Valley City State University; Mia Elsperger, who will attend the University of North Dakota; Julia McIvor, who will attend Lake Region State College; Karley Ness, who will attend Lake Region State College; Ava Peterson, who will attend the University of Jamestown; Kaiden Peterson, who will attend the University of North Dakota; Shayna Saastad, who is currently attending North Dakota State University.
