DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — The Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee, along with its supporting local businesses, invites the community to join us for Military Family Appreciation Night Thursday, May 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Dockside Entertainment — an evening focused on recognizing and celebrating the service and sacrifice of our military families and veterans.
This free, family-friendly event is designed to be just that—fun. Attendees can enjoy a meal catered by Cedar Inn Family Restaurant, featuring sloppy joes and mac and cheese, take part in carnival-style games hosted by local partners, and stick around for a full lineup of giveaway drawings throughout the evening.
Giveaways include:
- 4 Minnesota Twins tickets (LR Radioworks)
- Free oil changes (Les Schwab)
- A large assortment of toys for kids (Quilt Essential)
- A Family Summer Fun Package, including a summer family pool pass (Devils Lake Park District)
- Chamber Bucks to spend at local Devils Lake businesses (Devils Lake Chamber)
The event will be held at Dockside Entertainment Center, where bowling and simulators will also be open and available to attendees throughout the night.
“This night is about showing appreciation in a way that feels genuine and fun,” said Suzie Kenner, Executive Director of the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce. “Our local businesses really stepped up to make this something special, and we’re excited to give military families and veterans a night to simply enjoy.”
The Chamber and its Military Affairs Committee would like to thank the many sponsors and partners who helped bring this event together.
Military Family Appreciation Night is free and open to all current military families and veterans. Come hungry, bring the kids, and plan to stay awhile.
