I have accepted the endorsement of District 47 DemNPL to run for the North Dakota Senate and as a consequence I will not be submitting opinions for March and through November of 2026. Depending on the outcome of the November election, I may be able to return to writing opinions in December. If elected to the Senate you can be sure I will be interested in your thoughts and opinions as to how to protect and advance members of the North Dakota Newspaper Association and the rural communities they serve. It has been my life’s work and whatever the outcome of this election, I intend to continue that work. Thank you for the opportunity you have provided me. Best of luck to you and the folks you serve.
