The Ramsey County Spelling Bee was held Tuesday, Feb. 10 in the Memorial Building in Devils Lake, ND.

The Ramsey County Spelling Bee Champion, Runner-Up and Alternate determined by the judges were

First place: Jude Asleson, from CMS. The Runner-up was Jaxen Parisien, CMS. The Alternate was Tommy Hyman from Starkweather.

Winners who placed in the 2026 Ramsey County Spelling Bee included the following:

Third Grade

First place: Logan Tarang (3) PV

Second place: Clementine Hernandez-Kienast (3) PV

Third Place: Mariska Beckstrand (3) St. Joseph

Fourth Grade

First place: Anthony Miller (4) PV

Second place: Elly Hamre (4) PV

Fifth Grade

First place: Nevaeh Eversvik (5) Starkweather

The setting was the Ramsey County Courthouse and Memorial Building: Armory, Basement Meeting Room, Gymnasium, and the Historical Room.

The Spelling Bee Coordinator was Brittany Brunner and the Spelling Bee County Representative was Lisa Diseth.
