BISMARCK, N.D. – Members of the North Dakota Turkey Federation (NDTF) presented Lt. Gov. Michelle Strinden and Deputy Agriculture Commissioner Tom Bodine with a live turkey for the traditional Thanksgiving pardoning on Monday, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

The Federation is also highlighting the work of two local charitable organizations with a donation of 48 frozen turkeys to the Heaven’s Helpers Soup Cafe and the Abused Adult Resource Center in Bismarck.

Joining Strinden and Bodine for the pardoning ceremony were NDTF President Harvey Hofer, Abused Adult Resource Center Executive Director Michelle Erickson, and Heaven’s Helpers Soup Café Executive Director Mark Meier.
