Sept. 11 – 13: Devils Lake Chute Out Rodeo returns for three action-packed performances at the Western State Bank Event Center. Watch cowboys and livestock compete in exciting rodeo action, including events such as bull riding and steer wrestling. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Fri. & Sat. and 4:30 p.m. Sun. Sept. 19: The Lake Region Suicide Prevention Coalition (LRSPC) once again partners with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for the 9th annual Lake Region Out of the Darkness Walk at Ruger Park. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m., program begins at 10 a.m. with the Walk immediately following until 12:30 p.m. Snacks including coffee, water, juice boxes, donuts and muffins will be available before the event. Crafts will be available for kids of all ages, various agencies will present information tables, and there will also be music as well as bead and t-shirt tables.
