Barbara Rosendahl, 71, of Maddock, ND, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, ND.

Barbara  Rosendahl, 71, of Maddock, ND, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, ND. 

Services will be held on Saturday, November 8 at 2 p.m. at North Viking Lutheran Church in Maddock with Pastor Allen Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the North Viking Lutheran Cemetery, Maddock. Visitation will be one hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Lawerence Tollefeson, Daniel Tollefson, Rudolph Tollefson, Donovan Olson, Emil Kraft, John Tollefson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Russel Ramsfield, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Music will be provided by Rachel Markestad.
Barbara was born February 14, 1943 in Devils Lake, ND. Her parents were Rudolf and Eustean (Bingham) Tollefson. She attended BCATS school in Maddock and was employed as waitress in Devils Lake. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Rosendahl on September 10, 1962 at Hamberg, ND. The couple continued to live in the Maddock area and Barbara worked for years at the Fairway Foods, almost 30 years for Senior Meals and almost 30 years for Maddock Memorial Home, all in Maddock. She taught Sunday School for years.  She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a great cook and enjoyed long visits. When she would find the time to watch TV, it was ‘Law and Order’.  Recently she volunteered to teach Sunday School again at North Viking Church in her spare time.

Barbara is survived by daughter,  Beverly (Bill Walford) Aanderud of Devils Lake; son, Norman (Robin) Rosendahl of Maddock; grandchildren,  Yvonne (Mitchell) Fossen of Maddock, Shannon (Levi) Louder of Draper, SD, Stephani Rosendahl and Andrew Rosendahl of Moorhead, MN, Elizabeth, Felicea and Victoria Rosendahl of Watertown, SD and Kristi Medalen of Maddock; great-grandchildren, Vada and Vyvyan Fossen of Maddock, Serenity Rosendahl, Araya Nygaard and Tyson Miller of Watertown, Abigail and Graci Brakke of Moorhead; special granddaughter, Tasha Johnson of Minot, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd, father: Rudolf, and sister: Eleanore.
