The N.D. Flood Recovery Center located at Lake Region College in Devils Lake will be closing as of 6 p.m. Tuesday. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be opening a Disaster Recovery Center in Devils Lake which will also include state agency representation and will provide access to individual assistance programs.
North Dakotans impacted by flooding are encouraged to call 1-800-621-3362 or TTY: 1-800-462-7585 or visit www.disasterassistance.gov to register for assistance with FEMA. Impacted people may also continue to complete the flood impact survey located at the ND Department of Emergency Service’s website: http://www.nd.gov/des/2011-flood-survey/ The information collected through that survey will be shared with FEMA to facilitate the recovery process.
