Airline boardings continued to rise in North Dakota during the month of November.
According to Aeronautics Commission Director Larry Taborsky, boardings are up 6 percent over last November.
With solid gains for both the commercial and regional airports, six of the state's eight airports had 10-year records for the month of November.
The rise is attributed to the good economy, tempting travel deals throughout the country, increased marketing efforts by the airports and a variety of choices for North Dakotans.
Devils Lake airport regional boardings increased slightly in November compared to last year. It was a 16.18 percent rise in traffic, the second highest in the state.
Jamestown recorded the highest jump to 27.98 per cent. Minot and Dickinson had decreases in boardings.
