- Public skating opportunities abound The Devils Lake Park Board has announced several opportunities for local skaters to use Burdick Arena over the next several days. The arena will be open: Today ? 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Friday ? 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday ? 12:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday ? 1 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. Tuesday ? 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. The DLPB also announced its annual New Year?s Extravaganza will be held Monday from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. The event, which features special music and special lighting to help skaters ring in a new year costs just $10 and includes skate rental, if needed, along with food and drinks
