Roseann S. Livingston, 62, of Arkansas City, KS, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at the Winfield Rest Haven Nursing Home.

Roseann S. Livingston, 62, of Arkansas City, KS, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at the Winfield Rest Haven Nursing Home. Cremation has been effected. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Don Cross will officiate.

Roseann was born February 28, 1956, to Howard "Jack" P. and Dorothy "Pauline" (Scurlock) Shelton in Kirksville, MO. She was reared and educated in Kirksville graduating from Kirksville High School in 1974. After high school Roseann attended and graduated from Truman University and Black Hawk School of Nursing.

On July 23, 1977, Roseann married Steve Livingston in Kirksville, MO. The couple made their home in Kansas City for a short time before moving to Arkansas City. Roseann worked as a registered nurse for Menorah Medical Center for three years, Arkansas City Memorial Hospital for six years, Winfield Resthaven as Director of Nursing for six years, and William Newton Hospital for fifteen years until her retirement in 2007. Although extremely busy with work, Roseann always made time for her family and friends. She loved watching her children’s sports, dancing, and singing that they participated in. Roseann was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family.

Survivors include her husband Steve; daughter Steffanie Fleig and husband Josh; son Thomas Livingston and wife Rachel; grandchildren Nathan and Natalie Fleig, Lanie and Wyatt Livingston all of Arkansas City, KS; sister Marcia King and husband Jim of Bettendorf, IA.

Roseann was preceded in death by her father Jack, mother Pauline, and a brother Gary Shelton.
