OBIT: James A. “Jimmy” Johnson

James A. “Jimmy” Johnson, 52, of Burlingame, KS, formerly of Devils Lake, ND, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Topeka Hospital.  
A memorial service for Jimmy will be held on Monday, January 30,  at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Rev. Timothy Stout officiating.  Burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery.  Urn bearer will be Paul Bjornson.  
James Anthony was born on April 16, 1959 at Devils Lake, ND, the son of Nellie Pauline (Rugroden) and Ernest A. Johnson Jr.  He was reared and educated in Devils Lake.  
Jimmy traveled around the country where he lived and worked at various jobs through the years.  
Jimmy was survived by his mother Nellie P. Johnson who passed away on January 23, 2012; brothers, Gary (Betty) Johnson of Devils Lake and Ronald (Louise) Johnson of Stone Mountain, GA and his sister Jane J. (Ralph) Wentz, also of Devils Lake; and many nieces, nephews and their families.  
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Ernest and brother Roger Johnson.
