Informal meeting in Devils Lake on foster care and adoption

The Region III Foster Care and Adoption Coalition will hold an informal inquiry meeting for anyone interested in becoming a foster care or adoptive parent on Saturday, March 3, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Kneadful Things Restaurant, 516 College Drive South in Devils Lake.
Presenting information will be the Adults Adopting Special Kids (AASK) Program, County Social Services on family foster care, Lake Region Human Service Center on the Emergency Shelter Care Program, and the PATH Treatment Foster Care Program. There will be time for questions, visiting and viewing displays.
Everyone who is interested in learning more about the variety of foster care programs or adoptions is welcome to enjoy coffee, juice and muffins from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Those with questions about adoption can call 662-4913 and those with questions about the foster care program can contact the Lake Region Human Service Center at 665-2200.
