FORT TOTTEN, N.D. — Austin Longie scored a game-high 23 points and was one of four players to reach double figures as Four Winds-Minnewaukan routed Standing Rock 83-56 on Saturday.
Longie, who was held two just one field goal in the first half came alive in the second half and helped as the Indians outscored Standing Rock 54-26 over the final two periods of play to secure the win.
Longie nailed four 3-pointers in the third quarter, along with a two-point shot from the floor for 14 points in the period. He added seven points in the final eight minutes of play, including three of four from the foul line.
He was joined in double figures by Christian Ironroad who tallied 21 points while Chris Cook and Trayvon McKay chipped in with 15 and 11 points, respectively, for the Indians.
Standing Rock was paced by Keary St. John’s 16 points. Travis Twinn and Gabe Archambault added 13 and 11 points, respectively, in the loss.
Four Winds-Minnewaukan plays its final game of the regular season on Saturday when the Indians take on Fertile-Beltrami (Minn.) in a game in Grand Forks.
