The Devils Lake Police Department has reported that a high risk sex offender was recently charged with failing to register his residence after his release from the Lake Region Law Enforcement Center jail.
Police say 27 year-old Anthony Rolland of Devils Lake was released from jail on Jan. 4 and failed to notify authorities of his new residence.
Rolland has a lifetime registration requirement.
Failing to register as a sex offender is a felony.
