A Minnewaukan woman was cited for care required Tuesday after colliding with a snow plow on Highway 2, one mile west of Leeds.
According to a report from the N.D. Highway Patrol, Tina Hensler, 35, was east bound on Highway 2, going to work.
The Department of Transportation plow was also eastbound, sanding the driving lane as the roads were icy from freezing rain on Monday night. The plow was traveling approximately 20 mph.
Hensler said she thought the plow was in the passing lane and continued in the driving lane.
Once she realized the plow was in her lane, she applied the brakes but could not slow down due to the ice.
She moved to the right, but struck the plow on the right rear, damaging the driver side rear door of her 2000 Chevy Trailblazer.
Neither of the drivers were injured in the crash.
