The Lake Region Public Library has broken ground and construction is underway on the Barbara McCormick Reading Garden.

The Reading Garden will provide a green space for residents of Ramsey County to come and read, reflect, and enjoy the outside weather. The Library is now accepting donations to aide in the construction of the Reading Garden. You can donate by filling out a donation form and by making a donation, either online at our website, or by mailing a check made out to the Lake Region Public Library Foundation.

Donation forms are available at the Lake Region Public Library. There are different levels of donations that can be made. A chosen inscription can be placed on a donation plaque or can be displayed on a donation brick paver within the garden, or even on a donation plaque placed on the limited number of benches in the garden.

Regardless of how you decide to make a donation, all donations made to the Library Foundation are tax deductible. All checks and forms, along with the desired inscription, should be handed into the library so the inscription of your choice can be placed within the garden on the desired brick or plaque.

For more information, please visit our website or stop by the library and speak with the Director, Jared Tolman.
