Bradley D. ‘Harv’ Halldorson, 55, of Devils Lake, ND, passed away on Monday morning, Aug. 27, 2018, in the loving care of his family and Altru Hospice at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake.
Bradley D. ‘Harv’ Halldorson, 55, of Devils Lake, ND, passed away on Monday morning, Aug. 27, 2018, in the loving care of his family and Altru Hospice at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake. Funeral Services for Harv will be held on Friday, Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Reverend Tom Westcott officiating. Burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Thursday, Aug. 30 from 3 until 6 p.m. and will continue at the church on Friday one hour prior to the funeral service. Bradley Delane Halldorson was born on March 25, 1963, at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, the son of Richard and Mary (Senger) Halldorson. He lived, worked and called Devils Lake home his entire life. Bradley attended Devils Lake Public Schools and graduated from Devils Lake High School with the class of 1981. He attended Northwest Technical College in East Grand Forks, and received his CDL certification. Bradley worked for a time at the Home of Economy and also drove semi-truck for several area grain companies. In Oct. of 1992, Harv began working for the City of Devils Lake and was soon to begin his 27th year. He had worked in several departments and was now in Utilities. Along with full-time work with the city, he also owned and operated the ‘Office Bar’ for over 16 years. Bradley was a 27 year member of the Devils Lake Elks Lodge and was a dedicated member of the Devils Lake Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Bradley was our beloved son, brother and uncle and was so very loved and will be so dearly missed. Bradley’s loving family include; his parents, Richard and Mary Halldorson of Devils Lake; brother, Steve (Donna) Halldorson also Devils Lake; nephews, Nicholas (Yoonjung) Halldorson of Seoul, South Korea; Alex Halldorson of Devils Lake; niece, Shana (Lawrence) Hegland of Fargo, ND; great-nephew, Aidan Halldorson of Pittsburg, PA; aunt, Kitty Senger of Tomah, Wis.; and cousins, Jeff and Todd Senger also of Tomah. He was preceded in death by; his grandparents, Philip and Gunda Senger and Leslie and Viola Halldorson; and uncle, Phil Senger. Casket Bearers for Harv will be: Randy Ebel, John Nord, Jim Moe, Roger Hammond, Paul Arends, Wayne Spidahl, Scott Cruse and Larry Gehrtz. Music will be provided by Donovan Foughty, Patty Cote and Jean Aardahl.
