The Devils Lake Suicide Prevention Coalition works to help stop suicides in the Lake Region area.

They are teaming up with the Devils Lake AMC Theater to show the movie “The Ripple Effect,” a powerful and impactful documentary about 19-year-old Kevin Hines who attempted suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge and survived. He tells his story and shares what would have helped him letting people know that there are ways to help. Hines’ story is said to be very moving as he shares how thankful he is to be alive.

In order for this movie to be run in the DL Theater, they have to have at least 65 tickets reserved by April 22 - that’s this Sunday! If you would like to attend, please call and reserve a seat today. If you are able and would like to sponsor seats at this very special showing, call and make a commitment to help pay for someone who cannot pay for themselves or their whole family.

Businesses and organizations are welcome to attend, as well, or to become sponsors. All donations are welcome to help make this showing possible.
