Dr. Rita Nalubega, MD FAAFP ( Family Practice ) is excited to get the word out that after waiting five months, the new medical clinic in Devils Lake, The Sunshine Clinic, is ready to open.

Dr. Rita Nalubega, MD FAAFP ( Family Practice ) is excited to get the word out that after waiting five months, the new medical clinic in Devils Lake, The Sunshine Clinic, is ready to open.
“Thank you for being patient,” Dr. Nalubega says.
“We are now ready to accept new patients. "

Dr. Nalubega  who has been practicing medicine for over twenty years, says that services available at the clinic will include comprehensive healthcare for all age groups. She will provide physical examinations, health screening and preventative care, treat acute illnesses, and chronic illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol and arthritis.

The Sunshine Clinic will also provide pediatric care including Well Baby and Well Child Care.
Adults and geriatric patients are welcome, as well.
Men’s health, gynecological and Women’s health, family planning, menopausal counseling, sports physicals, exercise / nutritional counseling, and referrals will all be available. Lab testing is on site.
This is a new practice, so registration is necessary. Bring with you a list of the medications you are currently taking, your health insurance card and your drivers license.

Dr. Nalubega has lived in Devils Lake for seven years. She is married to Dr. Rich Johnson, long-time resident of the Lake Region.

Initially the hours for the clinic will be from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. If you are interested in registering, call 701-662-4300.
