Alvina Ebensteiner, leader of Ramsey Riders 4-H club, was inducted into the ND 4-H Hall of Fame at the annual 4-H Foundation Recognition Luncheon held in Fargo in mid-November.

In awarding the Hall of Fame recognition, it was noted that Alvina’s long-term commitment and involvement with 4-H on the local, county and state levels exemplifies the qualities for this honor.

Alvina has been the leader of the Ramsey Riders 4-H club for 27 years and is well-known for her patience with all riders, but especially the youngest ones. To be nominated to the 4-H Hall of Fame, the nominee is to have at least 15 years of involvement beyond 4-H membership.

Accompanying Alvina at the luncheon were her husband Allen, daughter and son-in-law Ashley and Andrew Everson, fellow 4-H leader Danielle Hawn and Extension staff Brenda Langerud and Cindy Olson.
