Connie Lynn Nagel, passed away at Altru Main ICU in Grand Forks on Nov. 11, 2017, surrounded by her family. Connie graduated from Central High School and then went on to earn her degree in the legal secretary field from Lake Region State College. Connie held many positions during her life in Devils Lake, including Clerk of Court, secretary at First Insurance Agency, Camp Grafton, and Phlebotomist at Altru in Devils Lake for 11 years where she was loved by so many of the patients, who to this day still ask about her, as others do as well. Connie’s health started to fail a few years ago when she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and then deteriorated further from that point. She had struggled with her pain and illness since then. Before she got so ill, her greatest love was cooking, family, fishing, and her beloved pets, (her pets were still her greatest love). Connie was born in Devils Lake, ND, on Nov. 17, 1961, and baptized in Devils Lake at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Connie is no longer in pain and is healed - we will miss her forever. Predeceased by - Benard Nagel (father); Harold Pulst (step-father); Lena Voeller (grandmother); Melissa Pederson (niece); Troy Anderson (cousin). Survived by Alma Pulst (mother); and siblings, Lisa Cooper - Devils Lake ND, Penny (Rick) Abar - Grand Forks ND, Leland Nagel - Devils Lake, Curtis Nagel - Grand Forks, Shirleen Pederson - Grand Forks, Bernadine (Gene) Finamore - Manning, OR; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunt.
