The Devils Lake Volunteer Fire Department went all out Wednesday evening to welcome the public to the Firehall in recognition of National Fire Prevention Week.

They built games like “Putting out the Flames,” provided demonstrations - even torching a doll house and everyone seemed to have a whole lot of fun: Especially the firefighters.

Fire Chief Jim Moe was pleased with the turn-out and thanked everyone for coming and supporting the firefighters.

There were door prizes, flu shots, take-home trinkets and up, close and hands on viewing of the big firetrucks and equipment.
