He faces a felony theft charge among several others.
Devils Lake police report that 22-year-old Dengdit Geu of Minot was arrested last week after attempting to make purchases with a stolen credit card at Tractor Supply Company at 223 4th St. SW.
Geu, who has been incarcerated at the Lake Region Correctional Facility since his arrest, faces charges including possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and paraphernalia in addition to a possession of stolen property charge.
He is due to appear in court Monday for a bond hearing.
Geu has a fairly extensive criminal history, though he has no felony convictions. He does have several misdemeanor convictions for falsifying reports to law enforcement twice, menacing, assault and trespassing.
Geu made the news in 2013 after an incident in Fargo in which he beat a man who refused to give him a cigarette, then made threats at residents of an apartment building, according to the Rapid City Journal.
Officers reportedly arrested him at gunpoint during the incident.
