Corey Regan, age 55, was born March 9, 1963, to David and Sylvia Regan in Devils Lake, ND. Corey passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2017, at his home in New York of a heart attack. Please join his family at Corey's burial service on Saturday Aug. 12 at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Reverend Alex King, at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, rural Webster, ND, (at Webster go 3 miles north, 2 miles east, 1/2 mile north). He was raised in Devils Lake. He enjoyed music and centered his life around it. Family was very important to him. He held his youth memories dear to his heart and cherished them. He was involved and loved the sport of wrestling, music and drama in school. He graduated from Devils Lake High School in the class of 1981. Corey had a great sense of humor. His passions and determination gave him deep unending joy and gratification. He studied music at NDSU and Drama at Dickinson State University. He had a great singing voice, was a pianist and composed music. He moved to the east coast and started working in the music sales industry. He worked his way up to department manager and top salesman. Corey was proud of his accomplishments achieving national awards in sales while employed at Guitar Center in New York. He also loved his cats. He enjoyed his comic books, art and memorabilia collection. Corey was owner of Raygun Comics, collecting and selling at shows and privately. He met many good friends through his businesses. While living there he met the love of his life, Sabrina Hodge and they where married on June 25, 1995, in New York. He has one daughter, Christina Regan who was the apple of his eye. Sabrina and Christina reside in New York. They thank everyone for loving Corey for who he was, the energetic, loving, kind, funny man with a big heart, forever missed. He will be laid to rest beside his parents and other Regan family. Corey is survived by his wife, Sabrina, of New York; daughter, Christina Regan of New York; brother and sister in law, Robert and Mary Regan of Minneapolis; sister, Carol Regan and her son, Dustin, of Florida; brother- and sister-in- law, Craig and Karen Regan and daughters, Alia and Tara of Florida; mother-in-law, Maria Hodge and his Hodge family in the New York area; special cousins, Kevin Regan and family, Webster; Dale Regan, Ken Regan and Teresa Austad and families, Fargo; Cheryl Hefta and family, Devils Lake; Sandy Regan-Roberts and family, Milwaukee; aunt Agnes Regan, Devils Lake; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Sylvia Regan; paternal grandparents, Rube and Sibyl Regan; maternal grandparents, Sylvester and Della Brown; father-in-law, Dr. Daniel Hodge; cousin, Greg Regan, several special aunts and uncles, Richard Regan, Doug Regan, Jean and Cliff Niemann; other aunts, uncles.
