A compassion center is a medical marijuana grower/manufacturing facility or a medical marijuana dispensary.
BISMARCK, N.D. – Those interested in submitting proposals for medical marijuana compassion centers must submit a Letter of Intent to Apply to The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH), Division of Medical Marijuana no later than 5:00 PM CST on July 28, 2017.
The letter of intent serves to notify the NDDoH of the intention to submit a formal proposal in response to the formal RFP. The submission of a letter of intent does not obligate the NDDoH to register or select the entity as a compassion center.
A compassion center is a medical marijuana grower/manufacturing facility or a medical marijuana dispensary. In accordance with North Dakota Century Code 19-24.1, the NDDoH will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for purposes of registering up to two manufacturing facilities and up to eight dispensaries in the state of North Dakota. The letter of intent is the first required step in this process.
