The Carrington Fire Department confirmed reports from multiple news outlets that three people were killed in a fire at a mobile home park early Saturday morning.

Firefighters reportedly responded to the blaze at 4:40 a.m., and fire chief Ken Wangen said that the trailer was "fully involved" by the time firefighters arrived.

Officials are not releasing the names of the deceased or the names or conditions of the three survivors of the early morning fire. The case is being investigated by the ND Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the state fire marshal.

The bodies of the three victims will be taken to Grand Forks to be autopsied.

It has been reported that 20 to 24 firefighters from Carrington and New Rockford worked to control the fire and clear the scene.
