Police say that a 40-year-old Brocket man was arrested after allegedly pulling a gun and pointing it at a group of people at a downtown Devils Lake bar early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at about 1:57 a.m. after the man, who police have not yet identified, allegedly assaulted a person outside of Thirsty’s on 4th St. He then entered the bar and threatened at least three people with a handgun, allegedly pressing it into one person’s chest, according to witnesses.
The man left before police arrived, but they were able to locate him shortly after and he was arrested without incident. He is expected to be charged with felony terrorizing, misdemeanor assault and driving under the influence.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident, and the case remains under investigation.
