The Lake Region Law Enforcement Center reports that there was a walk away from the Lake Region Residential Reentry Center (RRC) on Tuesday.

The Lake Region Law Enforcement Center reports that there was a walk away from the Lake Region Residential Reentry Center (RRC) on Tuesday.

Tyler John Rainbow signed out to smoke at approximately 10:49 p.m and walked away from the facility. As of 12:50 a.m., Rainbow had not returned to the RRC, RRC staff was unable to contact or locate Rainbow and he was determined to have absconded.

Rainbow is a 37 year old Native American male that is 5’9” tall and weighs 220 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair.

He was serving time for a parole violation on a possession of a controlled substance charge for Ramsey County District Court at the RRC. He had been at the RRC since Jan. 5, and was waiting for a review hearing.

Brendan Scott Belgarde Jr. is a 22 year old Native American male that is 5’9” tall and weighs 160 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair. He has a bear claw tattoo below his right eye and a cross tattoo between his eyes.

He also absconded from the RRC Tuesday.

Belgarde was serving time for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft of property for Ramsey County District Court at the RRC.

He had been at the RRC since Dec. 14th of last year and was scheduled to be released on April 10th.

A complaint has been filed with the Devils Lake Police Department for escape for both men.

Neither Rainbow nor Belgarde is considered dangerous, however, if anyone who sees or comes into contact with them is encouraged to call law enforcement or 911.
