It may seem as if you have stepped into the past Thursday evening, Sept. 2 as an entire community gathers together to share an old fashioned meal in the park together.
The Lake Region Anglers and the Chamber of Commerce team up to put on this feast each year. Volunteers cook up corn on the cob grown locally and walleye caught in Devils Lake during the many fishing tournaments throughout the summer.
This year’s Community Fish Fry and Corn Feed will be held in the Roosevelt Park Jerome Arena and serving will start around 4 p.m.
A free-will offering is asked at the door.
