Despite two rain delays due to random pop up showers. Devils Lake Speedway did crown a New Wissota Midwest Mod Golden Hammer Champion.

Brennon Weight of LaMoure, ND, was awarded the win when the sky’s opened up a third time forcing the Devils Lake Speedway to call the race. Brennon Weight has been runner up on two different occasions. Through the course of the last seven years of the event and was finally able to clinch the win. Jory Berg of Grand Forks came up second in the race. With Austin Hunter of Winnipeg, MB Canada, finishing third. Nate Reynolds of Manvel, ND, finished fourth and Jess Brekke of Devils Lake, ND, rounded out the Top 5.

Tucker Pederson of East Grand Forks, MN, collected another win Saturday Night. Making it his 13th win of the Season. Stoney Kruk of Langdon, ND, finished second, Seth Klostreich of Grand Forks, ND, finished third, Drew Peterson of Langdon finished fourth and Adam Dehne of Medina, ND, rounded out the Top 5.

Joe Armstrong of Crary, ND, won the Purestock Feature with Randy Jawaski of Kindred, ND, finishing Second and Tate Bullis of Lakota finishing third.

The Devils Lake Speedway will be back in action this Saturday – July 22 – for CHS night. Where the Northern Late Model Racing Association will be back in action. Along with Hometrack Rules Pure Stocks, Wissota Street Stocks, and Wissota Midwest Mods. Kids 15 and Under are FREE with a paid adult. Tickets will be $25 at the gate or $20 if purchased at devilslakespeedway.myracepass.com or on the Myracepass app.
