This week I take a look at two tasty new brews from Banner Beer Company and Narragansett.

The Banner Beer All Nighter is a 4.5 percent alcohol by volume ESB.

Although low in alcohol, the All Nighter is full-bodied and sweet malty flavors of dark fruits, caramel and sweet breads. The sweetness is complimented by a flowery hop flavors.

This is a beer that lives up to its name. I had one can, but I could easily see grabbing a six-pack of the All Nighter and filling up my pint glass repeatedly and gladly drinking it up.

The other new beer to look out for is the new Narragansett Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout.

The Autocrat Milk Stout is made with Autocrat Coffee, a popular Rhode CMS-CansIsland coffee. Coffee milk is the state drink of Rhode Island.

The flavor is much different that I expected. Most milk stouts are on the sweeter side, which I do enjoy. This was much more roasty than I expected, almost like a black coffee. There was also a pleasant chocolate flavor in the finish.

The Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout creamy, but was a little lighter than I expected, but still worth seeking out if you like coffee and Narragansett.
