Obituary: Tony Willingham
Tony Willingham, 54, of Madison, MO, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
Tony was born on January 9, 1959, to Lenard and Alice Dunwoody Willingham.
He married Rita Billings on October 28, 1978, in Middle Grove and she survives at home. He is survived by one sister, Marlyn Willingham of Madison, MO; two sons, Shawn Willingham (Donny) of Fulton, MO, Jason Willingham (Jessica) of Moberly, MO; one daughter, Brandi Chick (Brian) of Centralia, MO; and three grandsons, Brandon Chick, Benjamin Chick and Preston Willingham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenard and Alice Willingham; and one brother, Lester Willingham, husband of Helen Willingham.
He lived his entire life around the Middle Grove and Madison areas. He was a first responder, volunteer fireman in Madison, as well as, being on the fire department board for many years.
He had worked at A.B. Chance in Centralia for 36 years. He loved fishing and hunting with his nephews, Keven, Eric, Aaron and Austin. He, also, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
His family will receive friends and relatives from 4:00-6:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 5, 2013, for a Celebration of Life at the Madison Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Madison Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders.
