The Kohlenberg Lyceum Series kicks off the season with Step Afrika! At 7:30 pm in Baldwin Auditorium at Truman State University.   Step Africa! Agatha Christie’s Spider’s Web Dinner Theater presented by Curtain Call Theater Company will have dinner at 6pm and show at 7 pm Sept. 9-14 and a non-meal matinee at 2 pm at the Historic Round Barn on Route P.  For more information call 660-665-1426.

KLI FLATS Fest.  Come help clear the FLATS trail.  The Kirksville Leadership Institute is organizing the FLATS Fest.  The event will be from 6am-10am and the corner of Missouri and Osteopathy Streets.  Parking is available at the Theta Psi House on Osteopathy Street.  Bring your gardening gloves, clippers shears and help clear the path.

NEMO Heart and Sole Walk.  The Heart and Sole Walk is a non-competitive walk for our community members. The goal of the walk is to raise awareness about heart health, as heart disease is the number one killer of both men and women in the United States.   
The walk begins at 9:00 am. at the Kirksville High School Football Field/Track, 1300 S Cottage Grove Ave.  For more information contact

Constitution Day.   Join others in celebrating our United State Constitution by ringing bells at 4 pm.  Truman University will ring its bells, churches will ring bells.  School children will ring bells.  In 1887 our forefathers  wrote the Constitution that is still the law of the land.  Help celebrate and ring a bell at 4 pm!
