Devils Lake police say a man is facing multiple charges after a high speed chase Monday night.
Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 24 year old Bernard Rainbow shortly after nine on Monday night after determining he had an active warrant.
Police say Rainbow ignored the pursuing officer’s attempt to make a traffic stop and a high speed chase began.
Police say the chase ended near the Devils Lake embankment after Rainbow attempted to back up and ran into the patrol car.
The officer then exited his patrol car and used a tazer to subdue Rainbow and take him into custody.
Authorities say Rainbow is facing a felony reckless endangerment charge as well as charges of fleeing, driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia.
