Sharon dedicated her life to caring for and providing for her family.  As a family, they lived in several different areas of North Dakota, including, Walhalla, Cavalier, Clyde, Starkweather and Nekoma.  In the early 1970’s, Sharon and the family moved to Devils Lake and would call this home until her death. Sharon worked at the Daily Journal for over 15 years and most recently had worked for six years at Spirit Lake Casino and Resort.  Sharon was united in marriage to Leland Rader on July 3, 1975.
In the early years, Sharon enjoyed dancing, the outdoors, fishing and tending her flower beds.  She also liked an outing to the Casino with friends and family.  For the past couple of years, Sharon has devoted much of her time to caring for her ailing husband.
You could write a book of the many memories there are of Sharon.  But our most vivid memories will always be that there was never any sacrifice too great to make for family and her always unconditional love and support for her family. That was our beloved wife, mother and grandmother whom we shall miss so very much.
