Johanna Lee Dubois, 28, of Crow Hill, rural Fort Totten, N.D., entered the spiritual world Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at her home.

Johanna Lee Dubois, 28, of Crow Hill, rural Fort Totten, N.D.,  entered the spiritual world Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at her home.  

Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, July 11 at  10 a.m. at Seven Dolars Catholic church in Fort Totten with Fr. Charles Leute and Fr. Brian Moen celebrating the Mass.  Burial will be in St. Jerome’s Cemetery, Crow Hill.  
A private wake service will be held for immediate family and friends on Wednesday, July 10 at her mother’s, Lavina Littlewind residence, in Crow Hill Housing unit #188 starting at 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m.  The procession will leave from the Nelson Funeral Home in Minnewaukan at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Johanna Lee Dubois was born November 27, 1985 in Devils Lake, N.D., the daughter of Lavina Littlewind and John Dubois, Sr.  She attended Oberon public school through the 8th grade, Four Winds High School and Job Corps in Marty, S.D.  Johanna worked at the Spirit Lake Casino in the food and beverage department and in Bismarck at the Ramkota Motel.
Johanna liked riding horses, enjoyed playing cards,  coed softball,  dice, sewing star quilts and loved watching her nieces and nephews.  She loved her children,  Jaden and Lynsanna Avis Dubois.

Johanna is survived by her parents,  Lavina Littlewind and John Dubois Little, Sr. of Fort Totten;  brother, Duane Littlewind of Fort Totten;  children,  Jaden John Dubois and Lynsanna Avis Dubois;  aunts,  Delphine Cavanaugh of Fort Totten,  Hopsty (Louie) Dubois of Crow Hill,  Carmen (Sunny) White of Crow Hill,  Onna Littlewind of Crow Hill,  Germaine (Darren) Demarce of Crow Hill,  Violet (Burton) Robertson of Fort Totten,  Audrey Greywater of Devils Lake,  Grace (Darrell) Thumb of Devils Lake,  Mary (Jay) Robertson of Devils Lake;  uncles,  Ambrose “AJ” (Corrina) Littlewind of Crow Hill,  Clayton Dubois and Louie Dubois of Devils Lake,  Calvin Dunn of St. Michael.

Johanna was preceded in death by a son,  Stacy James Dubois;  grandparents,  Thereas and Ambrose Littlewind,  Edwin and Violet Dubois;  sisters,  Lindsey Littlewind,  LeeAnn Jetty,  Avis Littlewind;  brother,  John A. Littlewind;  cousins,  Mitchell Littlewind and Aaron Littlewind;  nieces and nephews,  Terese Slaughter,  Antoine Littlewind,  Kaylynn Littlewind and Jarvis Littlewind.
