Head coach Jake Wateland thanked the parents and praised them for everything they did to make the Firebirds season a success.
Of course the Firebirds wouldn't have had success if it wasn't for the athletes hard work.
“We had a great group of kids who showed up everyday with great attitudes. I was really happy with the improvements that we made throughout the season,” said Wateland.
Coach Wateland also added that he is enthusiastic about the future and hopes the team works hard in the offseason to have an even better year next season.
