Marjorie Helen Vogel, 87, of Medford, Ore., passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at her home. She had previously lived in Pasadena, Calif. for most of her adult life.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 1 p.m.
Marjorie was born to Alvin and Hazel (Mennie) Anderson, March 5, 1926 at Edmore, N.D. She graduated from Devils Lake High School.
She married Godfred Vogel on November 26, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nev. They lived together in Pasadena.
Marjorie worked as an administrative assistant for the U. S. Forest Service for 37 years until she retired in 1981.
She was an active member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Pasadena for many years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, loved her trips to casinos and traveling to other countries.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Susan Roberts (Jimmy) of Medford; granddaughers, Shelby Moffitt (Levi) and Courtney Roberts (Jeremy Camp); great-grandchildren, Riley and Wyatt Moffitt; sisters, Ruth Berdnarz (Len) and Beverly Nelson; brother, Leonard Anderson (Kay); seven nieces and six nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Godfred Vogel; sister, Lorene Weber; brother, Russell Anderson.
Arrangements are being handled by Conger-Morris, Medford; service and burial by Rose Hills Mortuary, Whittier, Calif.
