The Ramsey County States Attorney’s office reports the following sentencings Thursday in Northeast District Court.
David Galow, 18 of Devils Lake was sentenced on the Charge of Delivery of Controlled Substance, a B felony. On December 19, 2012, Galow sold about 2.7 ounces of marijuana to a confidential informant. Galow has no prior record. He was given a 3 year deferred imposition of sentence on the charge, and will be on supervised probation for 3 years.
Delson Bull, 21 of Ft Totten, was sentenced on one count of Burglary, a B felony. ON November 8, 2012, he entered the home of another and stole 3 firearms, and Xbox 360 with controllers and a DVD. He was given a 3 year deferred imposition of sentence on the charge and ordered to pay restitution of $460. He will be on supervised probation for 3 years.
Prairie Swifthawk, 31 of Lakota, was sentenced on the charge of Forgery , a C felony. In December 2012, she stole a checkbook of another and passed 14 forged checks to DL businesses totaling over $1,300. She was sentenced to 2 years in the DOCR, with credit for 84 days served. She is required to serve and additional 4 months. Upon her release from jail, she will be on supervised probation for 2 years. She must complete a specialized inpatient treatment, and pay restitution of $1,336.
Eric Marquez, 31 of Devils Lake was sentenced on the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a C felony. While on supervised probation for other charges, his probation officer performed a search of his home and located two spoons with residue of controlled substances. He was arrested and had to provide a urine sample, which was positive for methamphetamine and benzodiazepines. Upon pleading guilty to the new paraphernalia charge and Ingestion of a Controlled Substance charge, the Court revoked his prior sentences and ordered him to 3 years in the DOCR on all charges, to run concurrent.
