Williston State College picked up double-digit performances from four players on Wednesday night and raced to a 77-69 win over the Lake Region State College Royals in Mon-Dak Athletic Conference play.
With the win, Williston improved to 21-7 for the season. Lake Region fell to 15-8.
The Teons got off to a quick start against the Royals. Williston State rode the hot-shooting efforts of Jordan Jackson to a 35-30 first-half advantage.
Jackson finished the game with 22 points.
The Tetons survived a 39-point second-half barrage by the LRSC men to claim the win.
Williston State picked up 15 from Darwin Ellis, and 12 more from Charles Wardel. They also collected 10 points and a game-high 19 rebounds from Miguel Sansavour.
Jay Sewer led all LRSC scorers with 19 points.
Gage Deis turned in a stellar effort for the Royals. He finished with a double-double, netting 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Melvin Langstaff chipped in 15, while Darnell Landon added nine.
