The second of two major documentaries spotlighting Devils Lake flooding will premier Thursday, Jan. 10 in the Lake Region State College auditorium.
Last spring the first documentary premiered. It was a half-hour look at what has been happening around Devils Lake as climate change brought flooding to the area for nearly 20 years.
The documentary “Mother Nature in Charge: Devils Lake the Dilemma” premiering Thursday will be an hour-long presentation.
The event is free and open to the public. A question and answer session will be held following the showing and refreshments will be served.
Both documentaries were produced by Prairie Public Television. This is the follow up to Mother Nature in Charge: Devils Lake Life Stories, which premiered in April, 2011. The screening begins at 6:30 pm.
